Happiness Through Meditation
Meditation. It's up there with goal setting and affirmations as something everyone agrees is essential to personal growth. And like them it's something that I think is widely misunderstood.
Yes, meditation is extremely valuable. It will calm you down. It will make you feel more relaxed. It will give you the inner peace that you are able to find your own answers and chart your own path.
But...
Very few people can do it.
And the reason they can't is because their minds are so unfocused... so undisciplined... and so weak.
Life happens to them... rather than them determining what happens in their life.
Which is why they are stressed... frustrated... overwhelmed... anxious and unhappy.
Which is why they become attracted to meditation in the first place.
So meditation is a tool that can help you in enhancing your life. But it would be just as effective to work at stemming the sources of stress, frustration, overwhelm, anxiety and unhappiness. Ideally you want to work on both at the same time.
If you are going to meditate, which I would recommend then here's a shortcut I would encourage you to try out. It is a tool that can put you in a deeper state of relaxation saving you years of time strengthening your mind.
You'll still need to build your mental framework for how you want your life to go, but it will save you time and put you in better shape.
